Testimonials
“Kids Teaching Kids is Vital. We can talk to these kids until we’re blue in the face really, but when they hear it from another student, who has recently, or is going through exactly what they’re going through, they relate better. They’re engaged more because they’re seeing older students, which is exciting anyway, it’s someone new, someone they can better relate too. When we’re talking about this really important issue [bullying] coming at it from every angle is what we need to do as educators.” – Samantha Tower, Elementary Guidance Counselor, MHLT Elementary in Minocqua, WI.

“Not only were they [the older kids] teaching the younger kids about bullying, but the middle school kids [presenters] were learning about anti-bullying without them even realizing it. They are learning it as they teach it. And you learn about it better if you’re teaching it, then if a teacher were telling you about it. I saw a huge difference in kids confidence, in their communication skills, at first they were a bit timid about standing up in front and teaching, but after I could see their confidence getting bigger and bigger and they were really proud to do it and help out the kids.” – Tony Duffek, Woodland Charter School, Minocqua, WI

Success stories
“I’m a kid, so I can give them how I feel, and when a teacher goes and teaches them, it’s been a long time since they were a kid, where as it’s only been a couple of years since I was their age. Then I can give examples and talk with them and connect with them.” – Adam, 7th grade presenter.

“I enjoyed hearing what the 3rd graders had to say, sometimes they’ll catch you off guard, but that’s part of it. It’s fun, it’s a conversation that I get to have with them, and I feel like a role model and a leader in our school” – Clara, 8th grade presenter
